They was all eager to get out as in the 2 days previous before the guys arrived a huge presence of Sardine shoals thick and plentiful flooded the coast and with it many predatory fish Kieren reported. Day 1 the guys got to experience some of this finding many Roosters with the top boat landing 18 on day 1 alongside many Jacks, Sierra mackerel and more. During the week whilst casting at the sardines Udo got quite the surprise when a quality Cubera inhaled his small stickbait and with some degree of luck managed to land the fantastic fish on the light rod! Over the next few days the intensity of the sardines decreased and with it the inshore activity with it as expected. If only we could plan for exactly these times!
The week saw its usual sporadic nature, hit and miss inshore activity, the guys seemed to have some bad luck with a good number of the big fish with only a few making it to the boat!
The last day for the Germans saw some top draw jigging action which saw them have double and triple hookups drift after drift of Fortune Jacks, White Tuna and the odd obliging Almaco Jack in-between which made for some great sport.
