This week we welcomed guests from Peru, Italy and the USA.

Overall the week presented some more challenging conditions for the bite, finding plently of fish didn’t seem to be an issue but initiating them to feed proved to be challenging at times. However that being said when the clients found themselves on the hives of activity fishing was good with some solid specimens captured and some even bigger opportunities on offer that didn’t go to plan for one reason or another, but that’s fishing!

There was some exceptional moments to note, solid specimens of Corvina, Broomtail Grouper, Cubera, Rooster and even a Wahoo taken on a popper to name a few!

The American group also had an epic moment a small marlin took a liking to their stick bait boat-side and also a huge pacific sailfish that was super interested in their jig again boat-side but failed to get a hookup on both. The Peruvians also encountered a tremendous display from a couple of Humpback whales which isn’t overly common at this time of year, fantastic too see!

All in all a great fun week was had, big fish where taken and many big fish lost! Check out ‘Land Shark Outdoors’ on YouTube to watch some highlights of this week at our lodge!
