This week saw us welcome the 3rd and final group from Getaway Sea Angling which included 3 guests from Ukraine and 6 from Switzerland.

Day 1 was of divided emotions for the Ukrainians unfortunately enduring some sea sickness but was rewarded with some great fish including a couple of Cubera Snapper, with one good specimen being taken on stickbait.

The rest of the week saw some harder fishing at times, but equally some very productive hives of frenzy activity with Roosterfish, Jacks, Sierra, Yellowfin tuna, Mahi Mahi and other species mixed in.

The week saw a good variety of species for the anglers, a good Wahoo was taken on the last day by Akë from Switzerland on a popper which is always a super cool catch! The bigger fish certainly showed their presence this week but with few being successfully brought to the boat it made for some harsh lessons learned by the anglers, but this is fishing and we can't win them all!

Frenzy Time

Throughout the week there was a fair share of frenzies that our anglers could capitalise on and have some fun with quantities of fish with the likes of Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle, Blue Jacks, Sierra Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna and Mahi Mahi to name a few, many fish can be caught in these frenzies with double and triple hookups common providing great sport.
