On a different note, we have a new Captain on the team. Chino will be missed but let me introduce our new Captain Wiljem who will without a doubt be appreciated by our guests. Here he is with a nice roosterfish:
Mid-March, we hosted another group of German, this time all veterans of the Tuna Coast of Panama. The fishing was once again very typical of the dry season: some wind, many medium sized fish to be had on topwater, and roosters for everyone ! Out of the 40ish clients we had since the season opener early February, every single guest that came to Pedasi has had at least 1 roosterfish. And as always at Panafishing Adventure, all fish have been caught on artificial lures. This particular week, the average size of the rooster fish was very decent, as you can see in the pictures below. The jigging continues to be tough due to the very strong winds this year. As April comes the wind should come down, allowing for more variety to be caught on jig. The big fish including the mighty cubera snapper will also start to show up and humble even the most experienced anglers.
