Gear Rental

We have rental gear for anglers not wanting to travel with rod tubes. All good quality reels Shimano saragosas, 6000, 8000, 10000, and 14000, paired up with Howk and black hole rods.

We carry a limited amount of poppers, stick baits, jerk baits, and jigs for SPJ as well as some terminal tackle available to purchase.

Quality Package – $45/day

• 50 lb Popping & Spinning Set:
  Howk Bullfighter 150 or Black Hole Magic Eye rods with Shimano Saragosa 6000 SW reel
• 80 lb Popping & Spinning Set:
  Howk Bullfighter 170/200 or Black Hole Cape Cod Special 76N or 80N rods
  Reel: Shimano Saragosa 8000 / 10000 / 14000 SWB XG
• 65 lb Jigging Set:
  Choose between Smith AMJ S54H or Black Hole Cape Cod Special 250g rods

Rod Only Package – $30/day

Includes 3 rods of your choice from the quality package selection.

Given the hassle, cost, and risk of traveling with a rod case, we offer the option to rent premium rods on-site. Renting rods for 6 days is often more affordable than checking a rod tube with most airlines.

Slow Jigging Outfit – $15/day

• 50 lb Slow Jigging Set:
  Major Craft NP-Jack rod with overhead reel

Our fishing lodge is the only one in Panama that caters exclusively to popping and jigging enthusiasts.
